So onto this weeks challenge which is
*UNDER THE SEA*
We thought with it being mid July and the summer holidays approaching, we would love to see your interpretations of the sea. It could be a marine look or the beach or whatever reminds you of being by/under the sea, and to help you along the way, our lovely Design Team have been super busy again.
Jacqui M: I decided to make a concertina card for this challenge, the images I hand drew just for this challenge. The DP are a mix of Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby and free polka dot papers from Simply Homemade Magazine. I coloured the images with Promarkers and used self adhesive gems for the bubbles. The sentiments were Pink Petticoat free with Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine (old issue).
Helen: For this card, I've used a lovely digi image from Bugaboo, which has been printed onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock and edged with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Inks.
I came across this lovely glazed water paper in my local craft shop and had to buy it as I knew this challenge was coming up! I've coloured in the image with Stampin' Up! stampin write markers, and highlighted the fish, heart, and the oxygen tank with a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen in clear glitter sparkle. For the bubbles, I have added some little table decoration gems from my stash, then I've added a wave from K & Co.

Jacqui H: I stamped the mermaid image onto a postcard and coloured with promarkers. Used glitter glue for the border. I matt and layered tonal blues and used some seaside themed embellishments and a toned ribbon.
Steph: I downloaded my Crab from Bugaboo Stamps and printed 3 off. I coloured them all with promarkers and cut them out. I layered them up 'Decoupage' style and mounted the topper onto blue paper by NitWits. I drew bubbles to the left side of the card and added glitter and added the topper to the card. I added glitter to the crab image and made the greeting freehand, which was also mounted onto blue NitWits paper. I attached that with a 3D foam pad and added gems to finish.
Josie: I had already bought a digi stamp when I saw this was one of our themes, and then I found out the lovely Bugaboo was sponsoring us! So I made a card from the original digi, and bought another digi from Bugaboo and made a book mark! I'm keeping the book mark for myself! :)
I coloured both images with pro markers. For the card I found some lovely Basic Grey papers and matted and layered with my most fave turquoise glitter film. I then edged the image with glossy accent and covered some papermania glitter which matches perfectly. I had some stickers which I placed next to the image. I had these mini star fish embellishments which I coloured with peach pro marker and covered in glossy accents and sprinkled with a touch of glitter. I then used papermania adhesive irridescent glimmer dots to look like bubbles. For the book mark I did pretty much the same thing but threaded some mini bead of all different shades of the sea.
Shelby I inked this so cute it's edible digi with my copics. I used some Basic Grey papers from their Lauderdale collection and used magic mesh to try and create a fishing net effect. I also used some liquid applique to create wave caps. I put some glitter on the applique while it was still wet to give it some shimmer. The cute little sentiment is a chipboard sentiment from Me&My Big Ideas.
