Josie: Backing paper is Basic grey, I covered certain parts in quickie glue pen and then cosmic shimmer glitter over the top. Same with the chipboard shapes. Sentiment hand written, in the form of Joey from Friends! Digi image coloured with Pro Markers!
Helen Hi there! Well, this sentiment is me to a tee! My lovely husband knows that the only thing that is likely to shift me in the morning is a lovely cup of coffee, and bless him, he delivers one to me each and every morning! The stamp is from one of my favourite designers, Dolly Mama by Stamps Happen. I've coloured her in with a mixture of Promarkers and Flexmarkers, then die cut the image using Spellbinders. I've mounted this onto some base paper from Papermania which matched the design in her dress, then added a die cut down the side from my new Spellbinders edgeabilities, which has been covered with Pear Pizzazz ink from Stampin' Up! using the direct to paper method. This has then been sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer pearl mist. The cafetieres die cuts are from Paper Nation.
Jacqui H Well, anyone who knows me knows, I have quite a sense of humour! For this card I began with an Inklined design digi image, that ironically I bought from a shop! I coloured the image with trusty promarkers, added the legend, and inked the edges of the image. I backed it onto vintage car paper. Hope you find it as funny as I do.
Jacqui M Hello everyone..For my card this week I used one of Bugaboo's Fabulous images..I coloured her with my trusty Promarkers, the DP's were all in my stash box. The poisettia was also in my stash but I took it apart and reassembled it and added the button to it...I then added 3 little self adhesive gems to finish it off.
Nelly : Hello all, i made this card for my husband's best friend 50th birthday! he was best man at our wedding many moons ago, I thought it brought a touch of humour to the fact we cannot escape the big number Birthday's even when we don't actually feel like we are getting on so to speak he he... the image is from Bugaboo digital design image and coloured using pro markers, the backing papers are from papermania mans collection (although i bought them 3 years ago so not sure if they are still around) as it's a male themed card i have embellished using papermania natural raffia and red polka dot brads, I have also decorated the inside of the card with the rest of the design papers ....I hope he still has his sense of humour when he opens this ....
Paula For some reason as soon as i started making this card, i knew it had to be as loud and colourful as possible, so sunglasses may be needed, LOL The image is a Bugaboo Digi Image, i've used Copic pens to colour it in, i've glittered the hat trim and sled trim with a white glitter. The backing paper is by October Afternoon and the green card is from Kars. For the green and red blast shapes i used my cricut and the Plantin cartridge, i used the Joys of the Season cartridge to cut my music notes out. I couldn't stop there though so added some gems and dotty buttons both from Papermania.
Daisy I'm back!!For this card I used the Sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamp. I made an easel card with this one. I Coloured the image with trusty Promarkers. Used Debbi Moore glitters for definition. The lime paper is from Anna Griffin, as is the holly one and the raised up sentiment. Gems from stash as usual. The green glitter paper is from DCWV.The metal holly corners I bought in a kit from QVC many moons ago. The 'pimp my sled' is a Bugaboo sentiment I just made it 'street' by making it look gaffiti.
Here's the card ~
Marfa I really like this digi stamp by Bugaboo, so I wanted to make it the focus of my card. Keeping up with the theme of humor, I added a joke as my sentiment. I used my Silhouette Cutting Machine to cut out the candy canes. Then I colored the canes and the digi stamp with my Copic markers. For sparkle (because we always need sparkle!) I added two metallic jewels in Christmas colors. The little red bow was hand cut by me. I used my silver Fiskars Glitter Gel pen to add some interest to the bow. This card will be going this year to someone with a great sense of humor ;-)
Sarah For this card I've chosen my favourite Christmas joke, I hope you find it funny too :) The trees and snowmen are from the Polkadoodles Christmas Boutique kit I bought in about August, they're coloured with a mixture of ProMarkers and Flexmarkers. The sky and snow papers are from a Forever Friends kit. I printed the joke onto Safmat, cut it into two identical scalloped circles and put them together with a brad - you just turn the uppermost circle to get your laugh! To finish I plastered practically the whole card with glitter glues.
Doreen For this card I used the Sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamp. I love these crazy images. I colored with my copics. I used the in chequer pattern paper to underline the madness of christmas shopping. But I don't know the manufacturer - all black and red papers which I used for this card were a present.
And our Guest designers from our sponsors themselves
